Apr. 8 2019 Miscellaneous By ___

Your residential vehicle can take you more places than you can imagine. It’s a convenient and very affordable option when you need transport for small groups. While these carts be useful on campuses and within residential areas, they most often find use as the classic form of transport on a golf course. Big Country Powersports here in Bowling Green, Kentucky, has some local options for you to consider when planning your next round!

CrossWinds Golf Course

This 122-acre course is just north of the airport, offering you a lovely setting for a great game of golf. First tee time is 8:04 AM here every day of the week. On the last weekend in June, CrossWinds hosts the Pickens Amateur Championship, a 36-hole medal play tournament that’s one of the largest of its kind in the region. The tournament has only grown in popularity over the course of the past 19 years. If you think you’ve got what it takes, mark your calendar so you can throw your hat in the ring!

Paul Walker Golf Course

Right in the heart of Bowling Green is where you’ll find this regulation-length 9-hole course. Golfers of all ages and skill levels will love the relaxing backdrop for their game here. The large trees and small target greens that cover the course present players with a true challenge. Walk-ins are welcome and tee times are not required to play here. The Paul Walker course is actually right next door to the CrossWinds course, so you could play both in the same afternoon if you so desired!
